Here is an article from the 100 Mile Free Press regarding some of the ideas for our Outdoor Recreation Facilities.
The Outdoor Recreation Committee (ORC) consists of the following volunteers:

Building Siding
The 108 Community hall is getting a new facelift. Along with adding a new insulation to improve the R rating of the hall, we are installing new Hardy Board siding. Once the siding is complete near the end of March 2025, we will repaint the doors and tidy up around the building.

Gazebo
12 X 20 Gazebo has been purchased and will be installed on the west side of the building within the patio area. Picnic Tables and chairs will be added. One having a checkerboard for chess or checkers. We are hoping to add a Metal Commercial type electric grill for family BBQ's.

Pickleball
The South Cariboo Pickleball Association is leasing a portion of the 108 Mile RCA property and will be installing a new pickleball court in the summer of 2025.

Outdoor Recreation Facility
Our committee is working hard towards adding a covered outdoor recreation facility that can be used by all residents all year round.
